Two New Yorkers have been arrested for conspiring to use a portable X-ray machine against Muslims and "enemies of Israel."

Eric Feight, 54, and Glendon Crawford, 49, a member of the Klu Klux Klan, were arrested Tuesday by the Albany FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force in a year-long sting operation.

The two men are charged with conspiracy to provide material support for use of a weapon of mass destruction, according to the report. The machine, operated remotely from inside a moving van, would emit lethal amounts of radiation.

Crawford reached out to the Ku Klux Klan in North Carolina for funding. He also contacted two Jewish organizations in April 2012 to inquire about technology that could be used to kill "Israel's enemies while they slept." Both Jewish groups alerted the FBI.

Their target list included President Obama and a Muslim organization. Crawford blamed the commander-in-chief for the Boston Marathon attacks.

"Obama's policies caused this," Crawford allegedly typed in a text message. According to the FBI, Crawford wrote, "He directed the [government] to start bringing [Muslims] here without background checks. They don't have to follow any laws, and this administration has done more to enable a government sponsored invasion than the press can cover up."
